We bring our instructor-led workshops into the comfort of your home or business, serving locations within Calvert County and St. Mary's County. Perfect for girls nights, birthdays, team building events, family gatherings, special celebrations and more! Our workshops provide a fun, hands-on experience for all skill levels.

Chunky Hand Knit Throw DIY Workshop — the perfect cozy night in with friends! In this fun, instructor-led workshop, you’ll learn step-by-step how to create your very own chunky knit blanket from start to finish. Approximate finished size is 40"x 50" throw.

No knitting experience is needed, making this the perfect beginner-friendly project for anyone looking to try something new. Choose from a variety of beautiful yarn to create a custom blanket that matches your style and home décor.

The cost is $85 per person with a minimum of 4 participants and a max of 10. When checking out, the address you enter, should be the Hosts address the workshop will take place. 

We will confirm your workshop a few days prior via phone or email. This workshop lasts approximately 2½ hours and is designed to be relaxed, social, and full of creativity. Participants must be 10 years old or older. Feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks to enjoy while you craft, laugh, and make memories together. Gather your friends for the ultimate cozy DIY experience!

Workshop Terms & Conditions

By booking a DIY Workshop with Craft Learn Explore, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Booking Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 participants is required for most workshops. Kids workshops have a minimum of 5.
  • Payment in full is required at the time of booking to reserve your workshop date.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • All workshop bookings are non-refundable.
  • We do not accept cancellations once a workshop has been booked, however you may reschedule with a minimum 48 hours notice.
  • Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours notice will result in a $100 rebooking fee.
  • No-shows are non-refundable.
  • If a participant in your group can no longer attend, we encourage you to find someone to fill their spot, as each seat is reserved specifically for your event.
  • Workshops start promptly at the scheduled time, so please show up at least 10 minutes ahead. 

Project Changes

  • Projects cannot be changed after booking confirmation as supplies and materials are ordered specifically for your selected project at the time of booking.

Workshop Location

  • Craft Learn Explore is currently a mobile workshop service, meaning we bring the DIY experience directly to you.
  • At this time, we do not have a physical classroom or workshop location available for hosting events.

Tables & Setup

  • We can provide up to 4 tables if needed for your event setup.
  • Our team handles all workshop setup and cleanup so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
